CORE 1 SYLLABUS . . . . . . . . CORE 3 SYLLABUS
During class, students are required to be prepared. I only require a pencil, paper, their issued book and their calculator personal owned or issued. If during class they came to class unprepared, this will be notated and during a quiz, they will have to complete the quiz by hand. No notes to the locker will ever be given. NOTES TO STUDENT At some point you must make a choice. Unfortunately you must make it quickly. The longer you wait the harder it is to undo the damage you do now. I made a mistake which I could have placed blame on my childhood circumstance to not do the best that I knew I could do in school. I slept in class, I did not turn in my class work or homework and I often did not attend school. The work I had to do before I could begin my college coursework and the struggles I had catching up on the lessons missed was extremely demanding, laborious and taxing on my relationships, job and personal life. I look back as many other adults do and say if only I had it to do all over again. "Hind Sight is 20/20" in other words things seem so much clearer after it is all over and done with. You do not typically see how things are going to turn out until it has. I wish that I could go back and undo the things that I did and did not do. I cannot do that but I can hopefully get through to one of you to help you avoid making the mistakes that I made. |
